H-P (HPQ), IBM (IBM) Top Gartner's Charts for Q1 Server Shipments, Revs in Asia Pacific

Gartner (NYSE: IT) reports Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) and International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM) retained their spots atop the Asia Pacific server shipment charts for the first-quarter of 2011.
According to the Stamford, CT-based research firm, Hewlett-Packard shipped 138,417 units to the Asia Pacific region, drawing $671.54 million in revs. The numbers were a 16.9 percent and 14.4 percent increase over the previous year. Hewlett-Packard's shipments were the most in the quarter.
IBM topped revenue charts, drawing $951.44 million on shipments of 92,593, a 37.9 percent and 20.9 percent increase, respectively.
Dell, Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) shipped the second largest amount, at 100,713 units, though revs of $287.62 million put it in third spot on the chart.
Also notable, Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) placed fourth in revs, with $146.29 million.
