Shares of AIG (NYSE: AIG) have slipped by more than 3 percent Monday following chatter the insurance-giant has been charging too little to cover property and casualty-related issues.
Additionally, a Barron's article over the weekend speculated that AIG may not have set aside enough cash for claims following its move during the fourth quarter to raise reserves by more than $4 billion.
AIG shares last traded at $29.74, down 3.15 percent from Friday's closing price.
