eBay (EBAY) Shells Out More Money for Used Apple (AAPL) Products

eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) said Monday it is upping its payout for old Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) devices that have been damaged.
eBay announced its new "Instant Sale "program, which offers "limited-time pricing for broken or damaged iPods, iPhones and iPads." The program aims at recycling old electronic gadgets.
eBay is also stepping up the cash it will pay users for some of Apple's (Nasdaq AAPL) older models which met an untimely fate. The release states: "Through April 30, eBay Instant Sale will begin paying up to $150 for broken iPads, $100 for iPhones, and $50 for iPods."
Previously, eBay offered "free shipping and responsible recycling for all broken items, but limited cash value." eBay will also offer a "$5 gift card and matching donation to Global Green USA for each transaction."
eBay is trading 2.7 percent lower Monday.
