Initial jobless claims for the week ended March 5 come in at 397,000, vs. the consensus of 376,000. Last week's initial reading of 368,000 was revised higher to 371,000.
Continuing claims for the week ended Feb. 26 come in at 3.771 million, vs. the economist estimate of 3.75 million. The initial reading of 3.774 million for last week was revised higher to 3.791 million.
