Strong results and guidance from chip giant Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) is lifting a number of stocks and ETFs.
Intel reported Q2 EPS of $0.51, 8 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter was $10.8 billion, which compares to the estimate of $10.25 billion. Intel sees Q3 sales of $11.6 billion plus or minus $400 million. The Street is looking for sales of $10.92 billion. Sees quarterly gross margin of 67% +/- couple % points.
