After a massive sell-off this morning, Psychiatric Solutions (NASDAQ: PSYS) is making a little bit of a recovery. Shares are currently down 5.84% to $20.46, after falling to $19.25.
News of the in-patient psychiatric facility operator over-medicating children in one of its hospitals has surfaced from a University of Illinois at Chicago report, released by the Chicago Tribune. The report says that Streamwood Behavioral Health Center was giving dangerous combination of mood-altering drugs to foster children, sometimes using them as "chemical restraints."
