Few Stocks En Fuego Ahead of Tomorrow's Jobs Report (RMBS, STST, ARO, AMD, ICOC)

Stocks are trading relatively flat this afternoon after a little bit of a pop this morning on news that Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) will repay the TARP funds that they owe the U.S. Government. Also affecting traders decisions today, Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) announced that it will take a controlling stake in NBC Universal, currently controlled by GE (NYSE: GE). Currently, the Dow is down about 0.05%, the NASDAQ is up 0.35% and the S&P 500 is down 0.03%.

Notables for the afternoon session include Rambus (NASDAQ: RMBS), up 9.31% on unusual volume, and Argon ST (NASDAQ: STST), which is up 5% to $18.89.

On the downside, Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) has fallen 11.28% to $29.01 on 11.77 million shares changing hands. The retailers same store sales rise of 7% missed expectations of 7.7%.

In the tech sector, heavy volume in Advanced Micro (NYSE: AMD) is driving the stock to a new 52-week high of $8.20. Volatility on the stock is also at a two-year low.

Finally, ICO, Inc. (NSDAQ: ICOC), which announced that it will be purchased by A. Schulman (NASDAQ: SHLM) for $191 million, is up 46.11% to $6.57 on extraordinary volumes of 5 million shares. The company normally trades 97,000 shares, so today represents 50x the normal volume.
