JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) announced the launch of next generation rewards card designed for the affluent market, named the Chase Sapphire. Chase Sapphire targets the top 15% of U.S. households.
The Sapphire card comes with premium travel services, premium cardmember services, a rewards program and no preset spending limit, among others things.
The Sapphire card is in direct competition with American Express (NYSE: AXP), which dominates the affluent credit card market.
