Shares of Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) are holding up well today in the face of news from MasterCard's SpendingPulse that showed that retail sales of luxury goods (including jewelry) fell 35% during the important Nov 1-Dec 24 holiday season.

Shares of Tiffany are down nearly 50% over the last six months, so much of the weakness was likely expected. Today, shares of Tiffany are flat at $22.33.
