Applied Materials (AMAT) Raises Quarterly Dividend 4.8% to $0.22; 1.8% Yield

Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.22 per share, or $0.88 annualized. This is a 4.8% increase from the prior dividend of $0.21.
The dividend will be payable on June 11, 2020, to stockholders of record on May 21, 2020, with an ex-dividend date of May 20, 2020.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.8 percent.
“We are increasing the dividend based on our strong cash flow performance and ongoing commitment to return capital to shareholders,” said Gary Dickerson, president and CEO. “We believe the AI-Big Data era will create exciting long-term growth opportunities for Applied Materials.”
