Meridian Bancorp Inc. (EBSB) Raises Quarterly Dividend 14.3% to $0.08; 1.6% Yield

Meridian Bancorp Inc. (NASDAQ: EBSB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, or $0.32 annualized. This is a 14.3% increase from the prior dividend of $0.07.

The dividend will be payable on January 2, 2020, to stockholders of record on December 19, 2019, with an ex-dividend date of December 18, 2019.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.6 percent.

Richard J. Gavegnano, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said, “Consistent with our commitment to enhancing stockholder value, our Board of Directors approved this 14% increase in our dividend to an annualized rate of $0.32 per share based on our expected earnings trends and continued strength of our asset quality.”
