PARIS (Reuters) - French soccer star Kylian Mbappe said in a video on social media platform X on Friday that he would leave Paris Saint Germain and end his 'adventure' with the club in a few weeks time.

"This is my last year at Paris Saint Germain. I will not stay on and I will end my adventure in a few weeks time. I will play my last match at the Parc des Princes this Sunday," he said in his video address.

CAIRO (Reuters) - Palestinian militant group Hamas wants calmness and a real hostages for prisoners swap deal, but Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants the war to continue, Hamas senior official Khalil Al-Hayya said on Friday, adding Hamas did not suspend nor withdraw from the ceasefire negotiations.

Fed's Goolsbee says US interest rates are 'relatively restrictive' May 10, 2024 02:16PM

(Reuters) - Chicago Federal Reserve President Austan Goolsbee on Friday said he believes U.S. monetary policy is "relatively restrictive," meaning that borrowing costs are putting downward pressure on inflation.

Increased supply, including on the labor side, makes it difficult to interpret if strong job gains and economic growth indicate any worrisome overheating, he said at an event in Minneapolis.

South Africa asks World Court to order Israel's withdrawal from Rafah May 10, 2024 02:10PM

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) -South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to order Israel to withdraw from Rafah as part of additional emergency measures over the war in Gaza, the U.N.'s top court said on Friday.
