(Reuters) - Robinhood Markets jumped in premarket trading on Thursday after reporting record first-quarter revenue and profit thanks to mom-and-pop investors returning to its commission-free platform to trade cryptocurrencies.

Sony Group, others eyeing buyout of Infocom, Bloomberg News reports May 9, 2024 06:32AM

TOKYO (Reuters) - Sony Group and other parties are considering buying online comic store operator Infocom Corp in a deal worth up to 200 billion yen ($1.28 billion), Bloomberg News reported on Thursday.

Infocom parent Teijin Ltd is aiming to sell its entire stake of around 55%, Bloomberg said, citing multiple sources.

Putin agrees to withdraw Russian forces from various Armenian regions, says Ifax May 9, 2024 06:26AM

MOSCOW (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin has agreed to withdraw Russian forces and border guards from various parts of Armenia, Putin's spokesman was cited as saying on Thursday by the Interfax news agency.

Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reached an agreement on the issue at a meeting, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov was cited as saying.
