Icahn Won't Take Yahoo!/Microsoft Deal Off the Table

Appearing on CNBC's Closing Bell, activist investor Carl Icahn said, as a Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) shareholder, he would not be interested in a partial bid from Jonathon Miller. At the same time, when asked if he would be interested in a Jonathon Miller bid for the entire company, Icahn admitted that as a director of Yahoo!, he needs to consider all potential offers.
Despite recent reports that talks between Yahoo! and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) have officially ended, Icahn would not take the chance of such a deal off the table and seemed to imply that this option would be optimal for Yahoo! shareholders.
Icahn currently owns more than 75 million shares of Yahoo!.
