This is the Man That is Crashing Bitcoin
After halting Bitcoin withdrawals recently over a "software bug," Bitcoin exchange Mt Gox appears to have very serious problems and as a results the virtual currency is trading at just $319 on the Mt. Gox exchange, or a 46% below the price of $590.78 being quoted on another Bitcoin exchange, BTC-e.
Today, software developer Kolin Burges, who has Bitcoin with Mt Gox, took matters into his own hands and confronted the CEO of Mt Gox, Mark Karpeles, in Tokyo, according to a video posted at CoinDesk.
Directly confronting Karpeles, Burges asked for his Bitcoin back. "We can't right now," was Karpeles response. His next question was "Do you still have everyone's bitcoins?" Karpeles would not answer that question.
Burges expects Mt Gox to collapse and doesn't expect anyone to get their money back. Sadly, he is likely correct.
