DigiTimes reporting Monday morning Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) has increased its total iPhone shipment order for the second half of this year from 50 million to more than 56 million units. Sources from several Taiwanese supply-chain manufacturers are anticipating Apple’s new iPhone 5 will account for 25.5-26 million of these units.

For the third quarter, Apple is reportedly only forecasting 5.5-6 million iPhone 5 units being sold, down from a prior estimate of 7 million. Apple, however, is now estimating it will sell more than 20 million units in the fourth quarter, up from a previous 14 million unit estimate.

Total orders for the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4 CDMA are predicted to exceed 20 million in the second quarter while only accounting for 8 million units in the fourth quarter.

After factoring current demand and the release date of the iPhone 5, Apple is now forecasting total iPhone orders may reach 95 million in 2011.
