Refrigerador Dear sir, I have a whirlpool Refrigerasor, it is 3 years old and I have had 2 service calls (out of warrenty) and I need to have another service call, for where the ice drops down, it freezes up and will not drop any ice. You can let the door stand open for 30 minutes and it will unfreeze and will work for the rest of that day, but the next day it will be frozen again. I had to replace the ice maker the first time., the gears had a plastic piece broke off, we had only had the refig about 15 months when that happpen. The second time we had to replace the thermostat; that was another $218.04. I have never had a new refig. that I have had to put so much money in. I never had to place a service call until the refig. was older. I've placed 2 calls and need the 3rd. What is the matter with this refig. Model # EDSRHAXNQOO Serial # SR1227263 Type 255SSA Please help me, is there a recall on this refig??? If not , there should be. I am at the point the frig. that was so great, I do not even want or trust anymore. I allways thought Whirlpool was a good product, but this sure is not!!!! Before I always had Sears Appliances, and I wish I had there refig. this time, I do not believe I could have had all this repair work. Thanks, Sandra Thomas swithomas@bellsouth.net 478-745-1757

dividends So what's the point in bothering to invest anymore? These companies are cutting their own throats. And GE chairman Immelt ought to be investigated. Trying to prop up his stock by essentially lying a month ago that the dividends would not be cut. Who is he kidding? GE is not in desperate financial straits like GM. They are still making money. So when the company shows a profit this later this year... on the backs of its investors who lost their dividend money... this bum is going to take a "bonus." Absolutely criminal. A jail cell would be too nice a place for him.

Poor Choice of Photo The photo is the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City which killed 168 people including 19 children. Nice job attaching this picture to a story about dividends. I'd like to think a strongly worded apology is in order.
