at 04:47 PM VWDRY Though some opine the oil price drop means low thrust for Vestas-VWDRY, the current trade-off is wind vs. coal, not vs. oil. Long term, it's the ramp-up rate for hybrid plug-ins, like Chevy's Volt. Meanwhile, VWDRY came off the naked shorts recently; orders world- wide keep pouring in, and no other solid pure play exists for U.S. wind investors. RE: down side, the Danes won't let Vestas fail, anymore than Paulson'd let Goldman Sachs go down. Global upshot is, wind power grows fast or faster, whether it's Obama or McCain't.
