at 11:54 AM Harley Davidson Dealers Granted, there are quite a few Harley dealers who don't really work in the dealership. They may walk the walk and use their title like "bragging rights" at the local sports bar but they have got fat and lazy. They have drank the Harley Kool-Aid, attended all the meetings and generally bought into the MOCOs mantra that you could sell a Harley to everyone as long as you built a new multi million dollar dealership and filled it up with over priced, chromed phalaces. Even a rocket doesn't go up forever dudes. Then there are those dealers who fall into a much smaller group of owners. They actually work in the stores everyday. They talk to customers. They run credit. They don't sell their bikes over MSRP, even if they only have one of a kind bikes on the floor. These are the guys who work 60 hour + work weeks and find time to ride with their customers and friends on HOG night. These are the guys who will survive. These are the guys who will get their costs in line with their sales and still work 60 hours a week. They will continue to give good service and give customers a reason to come back when the economy turns around.

at 10:48 PM Harley-Davidson As a "mature" buyer who recently purchased a new Harley, I was surprised to see a lack of incentives for those who prefer to pay cash. Just my 2 cents......
