Article: Despite Strong Q3 Results Research In Motion (RIMM) Gets No Respect

at 12:34 PM Stop listening to Maynard Um Nothing major has changed in the competitive landscape and yet RIM manage to deliver better than expected results. The kind of analysts like Maynard Um run for the fences every time a new device is launched. RIM doomsday was predicted when the iPhone was launched, when Palm Pre was launched, when Droid was launched and they're still here delivering strong results every quarter. How many times can an "expert" analyst be wrong and still maintain credibility? Shouldn't integrity dictate doing a "mea culpa" every now and then when you're dead wrong? People should stop listening to these supposed "experts" and start thinking for themselves.
