UPDATE: Morgan Stanley (MS) Tops Q4 EPS by 18c

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) reported Q4 EPS of $0.45, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.02 billion. Excluding DVA, Fourth Quarter Net Revenues were $7.5 Billion.
Compensation expense of $3.6 billion in the current quarter declined from $3.8 billion a year ago. Non-compensation expenses of $2.5 billion increased from $2.3 billion a year ago.
