December 3, 2012 6:14 AM ESTNokia Siemens Networks -- a joint venture of Nokia Oyj (NYSE: NOK) and Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) -- and Marlin Equity Partners announced today that they had reached an agreement for Nokia Siemens Networks to sell its Optical Networks business unit to Marlin Equity Partners in a deal that would result in the unit being established as an independent company with the goal of becoming a leading provider in the optical market.
