Xyratex (XRTX) Tanks After Company Blows Q3
October 2, 2012 4:44 PM EDTShares of Xyratex, Ltd. (NASDAQ: XRTX) are trading sharply lower after-hours Tuesday in the wake of disappointing third quarter earnings and guidance. At $276 million, Xyratex reported third quarter revenue that was below estimates which called for revenue of $316 million. October 2, 2012 4:07 PM EDTXyratex, Ltd. (NASDAQ: XRTX) reported Q3 EPS of $0.37, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $275.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $316.33 million.
