U.S. Bancorp Declares 9.8 Percent Increase in Quarterly Common Stock Dividends
September 19, 2016 8:00 AM EDTMINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Board of Directors of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) has approved a 9.8 percent increase in the dividend rate on U.S. Bancorp common stock to $1.12 on an annualized basis, or $0.28 on a quarterly basis, payable October 17, 2016, to stockholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2016.
In June, U.S. Bancorp announced that the Federal Reserve did not object to the Companys capital distribution plan covering the four fiscal quarters ending June 30, 2017, including todays 9.8 percent dividend increase and the previously announced $2.6 billion stock repurchase plan.
