BGC Partners announces agreement to acquire Perimeter Markets Inc., an operator of electronic trading platforms in Canada

(NASDAQ: BGCP) ("BGC Partners," "BGC," or "the Company"), a leading global brokerage company servicing the financial and real estate markets, today announced that BGC1 has entered into an agreement to acquire Perimeter Markets Inc. ("Perimeter Markets"). Perimeter Markets is an independent provider of electronic fixed income and futures trading in Canada, through its CBID platforms.
