Reports out Friday have Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) planning to raise the price on upgrading to Windows 8 Pro by five fold.
VentureBeat today, citing a Microsoft Blog Post, says the price will escalate from $40 up to $200 on February 1st.
Following the increase on Windows 8 Pro pricing, Microsoft will offer a basic upgrade for $120.
