U.S. Department of Justice is planning to open a probe on currency market rigging, according to Bloomberg sources. The $5.3 trillion market is currently being investigated by Swiss and other European regulators. The investigation may be similar to the Libor scandal, which resulted in fines for a number of banks.
At first glance, headline appears to be having affect on UBS AG (NYSE: UBS) stock.
