Fusion-io, Inc. (NYSE: FIO) is indicated to open sharply higher following news after the close that the company entered into an OEM relationship with Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO).
Fusion ioMemory will be architected into the Cisco Unified Computing System (Cisco UCS) Server to amplify in-server performance in all UCS B-series blade servers.
Analysts at Piper Jaffray suggest that Cisco could become a 10 percent customer for Fusion-io.
Shares of FIO last traded at $18.47, up 5 percent from the close.
