BHP Billiton (NYSE: BHP) has completed the acquisition of Petrohawk Energy Corp. (NYSE: HK).
The merger was completed through a short-form merger under Delaware law of its wholly owned subsidiary with and into Petrohawk, with Petrohawk being the surviving corporation as a wholly owned subsidiary of BHP Billiton.
Petrohawk has request its shares be delisted from the NYSE.
