Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) as many casinos are feeling a little pinch in Macau due to recent gaming regulations being imposed on the region, Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is looking at the area as an expansion opportunity.
AppleInsider noted Thursday morning that Apple is planning to open a store in Macau on June 25th. This would bring Apple's store count in greater China to 41 locations.
Macau is a special administrative region in China, which operates separately from the mainland.

Despite the dip in gaming revenue recently, Macau still remains a top gaming spot worldwide.
Shares of Apple are slightly lower in midday trading.
