TAL Education Group (XRS) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c

TAL Education Group (NYSE: XRS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.39, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $122.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $99.4 million.

Total student enrollments increased by 32.2% year-over-year to approximately 407,970 from approximately 308,490 in the same period of the prior year.

Total physical network consisted of 287 learning centers as of August 31, 2014, increased from 285 as of May 31, 2014.

TAL Education Group sees Q3 2015 revenue of $96.3-98.5 million, versus the consensus of $99.4 million.
