Roundy's (RNDY) Misses Q2 EPS by 16c

Roundy's (NYSE: RNDY) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.06), $0.16 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $971.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $942.76 million.

Same-store sales excluding all of the Company’s Rainbow stores declined 2.2%, which was due to a 3.4% decrease in the number of customer transactions, partially offset by a 1.2% increase in average transaction size.
