Aetna, Inc. (NYSE: AET) reported Q1 EPS of $1.69, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $1.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $14.5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.98 billion.

Medical membership increased in the second quarter of 2014 and totaled 23.1 million at June 30, 2014, a sequential increase of 385,000 members
