Kohl's Corp. (KSS) Misses Q1 EPS by 3c; Comps Fell 3.4%

Kohl's Corp. (NYSE: KSS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.60, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.07 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.22 billion.
Comps fell 3.4 percent.
Kohl’s ended the quarter with 1,160 stores in 49 states, compared with 1,155 stores at the same time last year. The Company opened four new store locations, relocated one existing store and permanently closed two stores during the first quarter of 2014.
Kohl's Corp. reaffirmed FY2014 guidance.
