Bankrate (RATE) Reports In-Line Q1 EPS; Raises FY Rev Outlook

Bankrate (NYSE: RATE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.17, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $136.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $127.42 million.

Bankrate sees FY2014 revenue of $540-550 million, versus prior guidance of $520-530 million and the consensus of $525.7 million.

"Bankrate is on a roll, with banking, credit cards and insurance all delivering double digit revenue growth over last year. Bankrate Insurance led the way, with 45% revenue growth," said Kenneth S.
