Audience (ADNC) Tops Q1 EPS by 3c, Offers Guiance

Audience (NASDAQ: ADNC) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.15), $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.18). Revenue for the quarter came in at $36.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $34.75 million.

Audience sees FY2014 EPS of ($0.1)-($0.14), versus the consensus of ($0.08). Audience sees FY2014 revenue of $37.5-40.5 million, versus the consensus of $38.24 million.

Second quarter GAAP gross margin is expected to be in the range of 51.5% to 54.5%. Second quarter GAAP net loss, which includes $1.5 million of expected stock-based compensation expense, is expected to be in the range of ($3.7) to ($4.7) million, or ($0.17) to ($0.21) per diluted share on approximately 22.5 million diluted weighted average shares outstanding. Second quarter non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be in the range of 51.5% to 54.5%.
