American Electric Power Co. (AEP) Tops Q1 EPS by 25c; Boosts Outlook

American Electric Power Co. (NYSE: AEP) reported Q1 EPS of $1.15, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $600 million versus the consensus estimate of $3.96 billion.

Sees FY2014 EPS of $3.35-$3.55, versus prior guidance of $3.2-$3.4 and the consensus of $3.36.
