Benchmark initiates coverage on Digital Cinema Destinations Corp. (NASDAQ: DCIN) with a Speculative Buy rating and a price target of $7.25.
"The Company offers a small cap pure play on the on-going consolidation of the domestic theatre industry over a credible management team over relevant industry expertise. The Digiplex executive team has direct operating experience running a theatrical network, having founded Clearview Cinema Group, experience combined with direct working relationships with theatre owners after founding Cinedigm; successfully enabling the conversion of an estimated 12,000 screens to digital. The Cinedigm business venture created a powerful rolodex of success based relationships and effectively populated an M&A framework for Digiplex as they roll up an exceedingly fragmented landscape," said analyst Mike Hickey.
"We view the Company's near term share price risk / reward profile balancing positive, over strong medium term (CY’15 / ’16) box office slate where ticket pricing will likely benefited from premium pricing, alternative content growth, continued theatre network acquisitions and a strong management," he added.
