Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSM) Tops Q4 EPS by 2c; Guides Light Q1, FY14 EPS

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) reported Q4 EPS of $1.38, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.36. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.47 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.43 billion.

Comparable brand revenue growth in Q4 13 increased 10.4% on top of 4.0% in Q4 12.

The company's Board of Directors has authorized a 6% increase in our quarterly cash dividend to $0.33 per common share. During Q4 13, we repurchased 402,810 shares of common stock for a total of 4.3 million shares or $239 million in FY 13. As of February 2, 2014, $511 million remained under the three-year $750 million stock repurchase program announced in March 2013.

Sees Q1 2014 EPS of $0.41-$0.44, versus the consensus of $0.46. Also sees Q1 2014 revenue of $920-940 million, versus the consensus of $943.6 million.

Sees FY2014 EPS of $3.05-$3.15, versus the consensus of $3.2. Also sees FY2014 revenue of $4.63-4.71 billion, versus the consensus of $4.64 billion.
