Boeing (NYSE: BA) is on watch as its competitor is reporting promising test results today.
The official Airbus Twitter account made the following post today: "The second test flight of the #A350 has successfully completed in Toulouse. More info tomorrow. #A350FirstFlight #FutureOfAviation"
News comes following an earlier report that a 787 Dreamliner flight from Denver bound for Tokyo had to be diverted due to an oil filter alert. The aircraft landed safely at Seattle-Tacoma airport Tuesday night.
Shares of Boeing are down 1.4 percent on the session.
