For 2013, Hormel now sees EPS of $1.88 to $1.96, from prior expectations of $1.93 to $2.03 and the consensus of $1.99.
Hormel lists the competition as Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN), Smithfield Foods (NYSE: SFD), ConAgra Foods (NYSE: CAG), General Mills (NYSE: GIS), and Campbell Soup Co. (NYSE: CPB), Cargill, Inc., and Butterball, LLC.
