Boeing (NYSE: BA) sees airplane fleet size doubling over the next 20 years, according to an earlier release. And that may mean some of the bigger names might not be able to handle capacity.
Speaking to Reuters, Boeing marketing VP for Commercial Airplanes Randy Tinseth commented that not only was there room for Boeing to grow in terms of rate, but there was also room for Airbus to increase its rate, and might even be enough room for a third competitor. He said Boeing does "have some upside in terms of long-term rates."
Comments come ahead of the Paris Airshow, which is scheduled to run from June 17th to 23rd, 2013. Shares of Boeing are flat early.
