T-Mobile US (NYSE: TMUS) stock spiked suddenly on Friday afternoon. Shares of Sprint (NYSE: S) were also affected, dropping suddenly. The violent moves followed reports from Reuters that Softbank expressed interest in Deutsche Telekom's stake in T-Mobile. The potential acquisition is being viewed by Softbank as an alternative to Softbank's stake in Sprint. This follows a recent counterbid from Dish (Nasdaq: DISH).
