SkyWest (SKYW) Load Factor Flat in May

SkyWest, Inc., (Nasdaq: SKYW) reported that passenger boardings for May increased 7.0 percent to 5,313,315 compared to 4,966,818 for the same period last year.
SkyWest also reported a 10.0 percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for May, while available seat miles (ASMs) increased 10.0 percent compared to May 2012. The combined airlines generated 2.7 billion RPMs for the month, while ASMs increased to 3.3 billion. Load factor was 82.4 percent for both May 2013 and May 2012. SkyWest also reported an increase of 5.5 percent in departures to 125,579 for May compared to 119,081 for the same period last year.
