Shares of Boeing (NYSE: BA) are trickling higher on Thursday amid reports that its beleaguered 787 Dreamliner is approved for use in what might be its largest market.
Reuters noted that the Civil Aviation Administration of China said it formally approved use of the 787 in the country, which would allow China-based airlines to begin operations with the aircraft.
China Southern Airlines Co Ltd and Hainan Airlines are two airlines out of the many global carriers that have placed orders for the 787.
Boeing is up 0.5 percent in early trading.
