Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is higher on the session amid new data pointing to the electronics giant also drawing the most from customers in every square foot of its retail operations.

asymco reported Monday that visitor growth for Apple stores was 7 percent while average revenue was $57.6 per visitor in its latest quarter. That is 200 percent better than Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) and three-times as much as lululemon athletica (Nasdaq: LULU).

Average revenue per store was $13 million, which was the highest for a non-holiday quarter.

Trailing 12-month average visitors per store was 250,000 per location, asymco noted. That compares with 170,000 for the 12-months ending Q110. Increased floor space at new stores as well as improvements to older locations might be two keys behind the gain.

Shares of Apple are up 2.5 percent on the session.
