Stocks Crossing 50-Day SMA 05/08: (FB) (WIN) (PG) Above; (CIE) (AOL) (SD) Below

Crossing and above:
  • Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) - up 0.7 percent. Not really much news driving the stock here, shares appear to be bouncing off of the $26.50 level following a few down sessions. Shares have been forming a bit of a channel from $25 to $29 over the last several weeks.

  • Windstream Corporation (Nasdaq: WIN) - up percent. Windstream getting a boost as it declared a 25 cent quarterly dividend today and will be reporting quarterly results on Thursday.

  • Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE: PG) - up 0.7 percent. P&G getting a little boost today amid positive comments from hedge fund giant Bill Ackman at Ira Sohn today.
Crossing and below:
  • Cobalt International Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CIE) - down 7.2 percent. Priced a 50 million common stock offering at $26.80, versus its closing price of $28.78 on Tuesday. Click here for more color.

  • AOL (NYSE: AOL) - down 9.9 percent. Reported Q1 EPS of 32 cents, missing consensus views looking for 35 cents. Shares fell over 11 percent at one point Wednesday.

  • SandRidge Energy (NYSE: SD) - down 3.3 percent. Reports break-even Q1 loss, versus consensus views calling for a loss of 6 cents per share. Lowered some projections for FY13.
