BioCryst (BCRX) Moves Higher as WHO Calls H7N9 'Most Lethal' Bird Flu Strain

BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCRX) is trading higher once again today following commentary out of the World Health Organization (WHO) earlier.
One expert from the WHO said that the H7N9 is "one of the most lethal" strains of the bird flu virus compared to one that has killed about 371 since 2003. Since being discovered in March, the H7N9 has killed 22 and inflected just over 100 people.
No determination has been made on whether or not the virus will become transferable between humans.
BioCryst is up over 7 percent on the session.
