DryShips (DRYS), Eagle Bulk (EGLE), Others Rise on Baltic Index, Greek Bank Inflows

DHT Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHT), DryShips Inc. (Nasdaq: DRYS), Euroseas (Nasdaq: ESEA), FreeSeas (Nasdaq: FREE), Eagle Bulk (Nasdaq: EGLE), and other dry bulkers are ticking higher today amid the Baltic Dry Index rising 0.35 percent on the session.
In addition, some of the Greek shippers are seeing positive action as Greece's central bank said about €19 billion has returned to the country's banks since last June, signalling a vote of confidence that the region will recover amid recent headlines out of Cyprus. Notably, the Greek central bank previously accounted an outflow of €90 billion during the multi-year financial crisis and subsequent bailout.
