FBR Capital today maintained an Outperform rating on salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) with a price target of $225.00. Analysts David M. Hilal said the company is gaining traction in sales to government agencies.

"While these deals take longer to book and are more modest in the first year, the potential is significant, and the focus should pay off in the long run. Partners indicated the size of the D.C. area sales team has nearly doubled in recent months, and this should help deal momentum," said Hilal.

"We think that Force.com has the greatest potential, as it can be used to replace many legacy applications. Multiple agencies are doing this already, and we recently learned that the Department of the Interior and U.S. Aid are both customers," added the analyst.
